I'm getting ready to recondition the seat backs on my '72 Supreme, and I'm going to replace the piping also. I ordered these "bullets" as part of the job, but I'm wondering if they are supposed to be on my car?

 

No - your car didn't come with those originally.....I think they stopped using them on Olds's after '67 or after '68. Lots of these vendors "label" items for use on years they didn't come on originally......more revenue for the vendors.
