Reproduction pieces

Hi is there such a thing as a reproduction seat trim parts for a 1955 Olds super 88 or similar models? Any ideas suggestions where I can find trims pieces? Also has anyone here have any experience with OC auto carpets? Thank you

You'll have to find trim pieces (stainless, aluminum, etc.) in a salvage yard. You can get OE fabric for your seats, package tray and headliner here:

Regarding interior trim parts you'll need access to a parts car or salvage yard. Many times you can go on eBay and just punch in 1955 Oldsmobile and a lot of used exterior and interior trim will pop up. Package trays and kick panels can be made by a reputable auto upholstery shop. OC carpets I believe is the new name for ACC carpet.

OC carpets in California is a dealer for ACC carpets in Alabama. ACC makes all or most replacement auto carpets for classic cars.

When you buy from OC, they take your order and payment for something less than the retail price. Your order is transmitted electronically to ACC in Alabama who then drop ships it to you.

The same is true for say, Rock Auto. The only difference is who takes your order and perhaps the price you pay.

OC does send samples. Your choices are loop and cut pile. OEM is usually loop. Quality is not much of an issue for molded carpets due to the fact that ACC is going to be the sole manufacturer.

At for some ACC carpets, you can get two grades of backing. l’ll call these grades standard and enhanced.
