Replacing Window Gaskets 1972 Cutlass S

Is there a step by step pdf file or anything on the internet with how to replace the window weatherstripping? I figured I might as well start doing it, even if it takes me a week, I surely won't be driving the car with all the snow we just got. I don't have any factory manuals for the car, but thought maybe someone did it and made like an electronic instruction manual or such.

which weatherstripping are you referring to? The long one that sits in the bright stainless channel above the top edge of the door and quarter window glass (this is the "roofrail weatherstrip")???

Or some other pieces??

Don't know of any pdf's, etc....

Give us some more detail and maybe we can guide you in the right direction.

I have not seen any good instructions for this. Basically, you would need to study how the old stuff is on there, take pics for reference, remove the old carefully, noting how it is attached and where, then install the new.

The door strip is pretty easy and around the windows should not be too difficult. I am assuming you are doing the latter.
You will need patience, 3M black weatherstrip cement, goo-gone, paper towels, popsicle sticks shaped into chisles (for scraping off old stuff without damaging paint), razor blades, and other basic tools.
