AC/Heater box

Are you under the dash or under the hood? Is this an AC or Non-AC car? I have several units I've removed, if it would help I could post some digital photos for you to see where the fasteners are, just let me know what type your working on. John

AC box removal

Hello,
I took photos today and found there to be several more than the two you've found. I started at the blower fan, that's under the right front fender, then worked around the box pointing with my finger and taking photos of each bolt hole. The size of most of the nuts are 3/8" but I believe they may be one or two 7/16". The photos are posted on my photobucket site, go to:

Then click on the blue letters that say Olds AC 1968-72 for the subfolder with the pictures in it. Let me know if any of the photos are unclear. To work on this I unbolt the passenger side inner fender well and crawl in through there. I believe you'll need to do that to get the fasteners from around the fan motor, and it will make it easier to reach many of the other ones. John

1970 Core Support

Sorry, I didn't see your reply sooner. Yes, I'm trying to fund the rebuild of my project cars by selling parts and project cars. I should have a couple 1970 core supports, but I suspect they each have rust under the battery box. I'm not sure how bad yours is, and how nice of one you would want, or how far away you are.... shipping could be expensive. I'm located in Medford Oregon, that's on Interstate 5 near the California border. Let me know if you'd like to see photos. John
