Recover front buckets

Just wondering how easy or hard it would be for an amateur like myself to put replacement covers on the buckets. I have bought the foam and material from a reputable source. any tricks to the trade like steam?

I did it once, Only take one apart at a time so you have the other for refernce of where clips and such go. You will need the metal rods out of the old seat cover and install them in the new cover. I used a heat gun on low setting and kept it moving for the hard to stretch areas. I have heard to put the cover in the sun to soften it up also works. One tip I learned after the fact but never tried was to use a plastic garbage bag over the foam to let the cover slide easier and then remove when done. Sounds like it should work. Hemmings Muscle did an article a few months back that was pretty informative also.
