Rear bench seat 1969 Cutlass

All right so I was getting my back seats reupholstered I have a 69 Cutlass supreme I pulled them out brought them to the shop and the frame winded up being rusted and pretty shot I believe they were 53 in wide I have a parts car that I pulled the rear seat out of took it up there but the frame was wider I believe 58 in will that drop in there with no interference on the rear door panels or do I need to find a whole new rear seat frame or butcher the two to make one thank you for any info you guys can provide

I got the wider seat to fit but I fill like I'm missing some trim here and if so will that interfere with the wider based seat i know my rear door panels will not cover that gap there maybe a half inch wide that is at least 3 inch gap or should I use the base and get custom with the trim piece thanks again

If you have a convertible then the rear seat is narrower and a hardtop seat will NOT fit. You'll need another convertible rear seat. Cores are getting harder to find and more expensive..
