So I recovered my rear seat this weekend and it came out nice. I let the cover sit in the sun and it heated up to 164 degrees. The upper section was still almost impossible to get on. My question is about the armrest and upper side panel. I removed the old non original cover and it had a little 1/4" padding backing on it. The new covers from Distinctive do not have any padding. BTW, I am happy with the quality and price. Theres lots of videos and posts for seat covers but I have't seen much on side panels. It seems that a little padding would smooth things out nicely. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this?

I needed gloves to handle it.
