re installing door panel

ok finally got door panel off my 72 cutlass so that I can remove the door lock to get new set of keys made, I am trying to put it back on, is there a trick to lining this thing back up? I see there is some type of clip on the top of the door, what is this? also along with losing my ignition and door key I also lost the key to my locking gas cap, any suggestions?

Once you get the door lock **** through the eyelet the panel should have no problem being fitted onto those in/out ridges it was originally on. You might have to slap the top of the panel toward the inner side of the door while also slapping it down. Bad choice of words, but it doesn't really take much force to fit these back in place.
