My 68 442 interior restoration
Thanks guys. The legendary door panels come perforated for any application like cranks, electric buttons or if you want none at all. They make it easy and they look great. I also recommend you get the reassembled panels that Come with the curved metal top support, the chrome trim, and the vInyl stapled in. —Billy
Hey Johnny, I replaced that shift indicator lens. I have a TH400. Did I put the wrong thing in?
Orlando, you can do the seat skins yourself. I watched a lot of YouTube tutorials to prepare for it. And if you mess something up the first time, you can remove the hog rings and try it again. —Billy

Rodney, the Legendary door panels have the U shaped cut outs to slide the mounting clips into. I took my old panels and compared them and found a few slots were slightly off. But i was able to nip out some of the cardboard to make the clips line up. Not a big deal at all. But good to use your old panels, if you still have them, for reference. —Billy
Okay for some reason when I bought the shift indicator lens from OPGI it just said for 68 442. It didn’t specify transmission. So I should have one that says P-R-N-D-S-L. I’ve ordered a replacement. Nice catch, thanks. By the way, what does the “s” stand for? —Billy
Hey 442_72, I was just reading the cars of Oldsmobile book and they said in 1952 they added an added performance to the Hydramatic transmissions. The "S" on the automatic shift indicator stands for "Super range." It was "intended for hill climbing and a gentle brake on steep down grades."
