Legendary Interiors product wait time update

This may be an ad-nauseum update but the wait time for Legendary's seat cover orders is currently estimated at 231 days.

I didn't catch that when I took advantage of a recent sale they posted on their website on a set of covers for my ragtop's rear seat. Luckily not a rush issue for me but figured I'd spread the word for anyone else contemplating a buy.

I'm coming up on 850 days for another reputable company to send me an interior.

Believe it or not, 231 is an improvement over the 280 days they were showing when I ordered my seat covers in December! Wait time for door panels went from 77 days to 98 though. I'm currently somewhere in the middle of 77 and 98 so hopefully I'll have them by June.

And remember, the count is business days, not calendar days!

For what it's worth, I bought some '69 black front and rear door panels from Legendary last year. I don't recall what their original lead time estimate was, but it was looong. Wasn't an issue for me so I just sat back and waited. They actually arrived in 50-75% of the original time estimate. I was pleasantly surprised.

I wonder how many people die of old age waiting for their Legendary order to arrive.

Edit: This explains why I sometimes see a box from Legendary sitting next to a gravestone in the local cemetery. It took a long time, but the order did finally arrive...

I ordered rear seat covers on 10/4/21 and received them 5/23/22......231 days....lol

When you get them make sure you take them out of the box and check them over well:

Yeahhh, that would be bad to see after waiting so long to get them - hopefully all will be good with my covers upon arrival and I do plan to have a local shop do the seat set.

ordered my seat covers and door panels at the end of the year and got my door panels last week and they told me seats will probably be mid September.

Got a call from them yesterday, my door panels are ready to ship and the seat covers will be end of September which is quite a bit earlier than I expected. Order was placed on Dec 28th.

FWIW, I purchased an interior for a GTO from Legendary based on their reputation. Seat covers were ok but the door panel fit was horrendous. They even made me another set with the same problem. I still haven't been able to get my window crank to "seat" - the door panel sits about an inch or two too high. Junk
