Last dash fastener

So, (on a 69 Cutlass w/ M20 and rally pack)

How do you get the center fastener (between the tach and speedo) off? No a whole lot to push against from behind. Didn't really have any issues with the rest of the fasteners.

I assume your talking about taking the dash out.

If so the upper one located about there is a friction fit clip (no nut).

Get a long bolt (3/8" x 12" or so, maybe longer), put it against the end of the fastener, and give it a good crack with a hammer.

It will pop loose. Don't pull on the dash pad, you'll break it before that stud comes loose.

BTW it's shown in the assembly manual on 1-3 pg 116 with a "clip"

Thats the one. Thought I might have to hit it, but wanted a second opinion.
