Kick Panel Speakers

Where can I find some replacement kick panels with speakers for my '71 Cutlass Spupreme convertible?

THanks in advance.

Brent

I'm strongly considering building some custom enclosures for mine when I get that far. I found a good tutorial on one way to do it here:

Smile kick panels

OPG has them, although they are pricey at $159.00 a set.

I don't know of any reason you can't get them at circuit city (example) as long as they are the same size (8"?) and impedence 8 ohm, you need to look at whats stamped on the exsisting speaker. If you have something other than round on a kick panel, I do not know. Best of luck!

You might also try a specialty sound store. There is a store called Audio Tech near me that sells home entertainment systems and car audio parts. I had to go to them to find the 4x10 speaker that was in the front dash of my 64 98. Unfortunately, it was like $110 for two of them and I only needed one. They also had a grille I could bolt up to the dash to put two small 3 inch speakers in place of the onoe 4x10. If you find a similar store in your area I am sure they can hook you up.

Try this one on ebay. They are $84.00 pair and you install your own speakers. Not a bad price. I will buy them for my 72 Cutlass when the time comes.

Thanks for the links. I haven't bought anything yet for my 64. The sound system is low on my priority list, especially since I just got my engine on a rebuild stand.
