interior window sweep

I need to replace the interior window sweeps on the top of the door panels for my 73 Supreme. I can cut the industrial strength staples to remove the old ones. My question is 'How do I reattach the new ones?'

I use a pneumatic 1/4" crown stapler with stainless staples. Punches right through the metal.
