interior touch up - cutlass

Is the difference worth $6.50 ?

Here is another cheep trick. I used weatherstrip adhesive to hold the seem around the sun visors. No need at this time to send the in to be recovered. Saved $50+.

That will work, esp. on black ones. Contact cement will work on other colors.

I did mine a different way - I gave them to my mom (retired & bored) to extract the old thread and resew with just the right color thread... In the factory holes, too!!
I used 100% polyester thread to hopefully keep it from deteriorating quickly.

Reallly nice Work !!!!!!!

I will recover the sunvisors soon, too.....

Good trick with the seam.....

I will use black vinyl with foam on the back and glue everything, i also thought about glue down the seem aroung the sunvisors....

Looks good! Really freshens things up. So, was it a Silver Sharpie or a Silver Paint pen or ???? I've got $6.50 burning a hole in my pocket.

It was a silver sharpie pen. (Now he will have to kill me...)
I am gonna try it and see if it comes out as good as his. His advice was to apply one coat and wait a while before applying another coat.
