interior problem a 67 delmont 88

hello guys
I have a problem, I'm mounting the interior of the car and do not understand if one part is missing.
I found this photo on the web and I see that is missing here, but it seems absurd that it remains so ugly.
can you help me?
thanks

anyone help me?
I only need a photo of how it ends that way.
I can not install anything if I do not know how it's done at that point

Ecco una foto della stessa area nella mia convertible 1967 Delta 88. Credo che la mia macchina e la tua avrebbero lo stesso meccanismo. Spero che la foto ti aiuta. (Spero che il mio italiano è comprensibile!)

(Translated into Italian by my college senior daughter who spent part of her senior year in high school as an exchange student in Udine, Italy and learned Italian while there. Here's what I asked her to translate for us English-bound types: "Here is a photo of the same area of my 1967 Delta 88 convertible, which I assume would have the same top mechanism as your car. I hope it helps you." She then added words at the end to the effect "I hope my Italian is correct.)

wow!!!!that perfect Italian, Udine is not far from where I'm about 150 miles.
the convertible is different, but thanks for the help.
I think the part that is missing is where the panel ends

Olds 67: The part you are looking for looks like this. Good luck finding one. I had one in my hand earlier this year.

No, I wasn't. I just didn't look hard enough at his photo. With his headliner pulled away like that, it just looked like the bunched up fabric you might see with a convertible top. Plus, he has a hardtop, so there's no center pillar, which is like a convertible, too. Yup, I was fooled.

Thumbs up

jaunty75 not worry, I realized that the photos could be deceiving.

Jay this perfect picture of your car helped me, now the only thing that remains is to build the part, because the Olds is already the upholsterer.
