Interior Kits for 71 Delta 88?
Interior Kits for 71 Delta 88?
Hey guys....I'm in the middle of a restoration on a 71 Delta 88 for a customer and I'm on to the interior at this point. Are there replacement seat covers and door panels available for these cars from any quality suppliers? I don't deal with a ton of Oldsmobiles so I'm not familiar with the best aftermarket suppliers for them. Thanks in advance.
You won't find a premade upholstery kit for a Delta. It's gonna be a cut and stitch job by the trim shop. SMS will be able to supply the correct interior fabric, but if it's vinyl a well-stocked trimmer may have it on the shelf, cheaper.
Lower door panels (the hard plastic section) are identical for all 1971-76 GM B-body cars of the same bodystyle. Black ones hold up well; the colors do not. Upper door panels are specific to the Division and model.

To expand on Glenn's post, SMS will make repro door panels. They can mold and heat seam the vinyl per the originals. These aren't cheap and they take a while to make, but SMS does a nice job. A friend of mine had them fabricate the door panels for his 62 Cutlass convertible.
Thanks for the info. For my custom stuff I normally use Everlast Auto Interiors here in NJ and they have always done right by me. I just figured I'd get direct replacements if they were available.
I pulled the whole interior today and the floor pan is shot front to rear. Anyone know where I can get a full replacement? Tried searching for a bit but B Body stuff doesn't seem to be super common.

Good used is probably your only option. 1971-76 B-body should all interchange (C-body wheelbase is longer and thus so are the floor pans).
