I already work for over one year on my Olds Cutlass Supreme from 1971, 4 doors, it my dream such a car was always to be owned, I have with my colleague
the carriages completely anew built up up to the smallest parts, it should be finished in August completely up to the interior equipment
and here I have a question to you:
how should I go forward best of all?
I would like to renew the plastic parts also completely, can I just clean them? can I varnish this anew or cover anew with leather? what have you changed thus in eueren cars how you have made this?

please around a pair of examples, tip, photo
I would simply like to know like you make this
or simply leave as it is?

I just redid my interior I used SEM soap to clean the plastic parts and then BULLDOG adhesion promoter and then SEM spray paint, It worked great!
I'll post some before and after pictures later today.

Brad Bishop, JWO editor, just had a great article about the process - very detailed, very concise with lots of photos - may have been the March issue - can't remember off the top of my head - get your hands on that and you're all set with all your questions.

Ich habe ja einige Jahre in Deutschland gewohnt - das war aber auch Jahre her. Deshalb koennte es sein, dass mein Deutsch wohl etwas eingerostet ist.

Die Farbe von SEM ist echt wahnsinnig gut. Allerdings muss man ganz genau die Bedienungsanleitung lesen und verstehen. Ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht schon mehrmals, dass der Hersteller es auch wirklich meint. Wenn die "Mindestens 18 Grad Temperatur" sagen, muss es auch wirklich so sein. Ansonsten ist es Zeitverschwendung, da die Farbe innerhalb wenige Tage abfaellt. Bedienungsanleitung also folgen!

Ich habe auch gemerkt, dass die deutsche Uebersetzung der Anleitung unheimlich schlecht ist.

Wenn du fragen hast, die du nicht auf Englisch stellen willst / kannst, kannst du auch gerne mit mir kontakt aufnehmen.

Ich muss aber auch fragen - ist es nicht SUPER teuer einen 69'er Cutlass in Deutschland to restorieren? Ich meine Sprit ist schon teuer genug aber wo kriegt man Teile, Farbe, usw. her??? Kannst du es eigentlich historisch anmelden?
