Installing F body seats in an A body
#3
You can install any buckets in any car with the right brackets. I question if first gen F-body seats will be tall enough for an A-body, however. Also, be careful about simply drilling holes in the thin floorpan. The factory used reinforcements where the seats were mounted. You want to have similar reinforcement for two reasons. First, the seat brackets will fatigue the floorpan and eventually crack it if not reinforced (been there, done that - in a 68 VC no less!). Second, the seat mountings are an important part of crash survival. It's your life.

nice I'm a bumpa this so I can come back ...
I was just thinking that holes on the floor board are funky ...
I'm thinking a captured bolt with re-inforcements...
I love my f-bird buckets as I sit lower, the seat is lighter and has excellent lateral support ...
