How to replace the heater Core on 64 Super 88

How to replace the heater Core on 64 Super 88

Hey guys

How do i get that damn heater core out? I didnt mess with it much. Im just not sure what way to go? Anybody done this?

You probably have to yank the dash, or maybe even worse, the dash And the fender

You don't have to pull the entire dash. I replaced the heater core on my 1964 Olds 98 about a year ago. You just have to pull the air plenum from the firewall in the engine compartment and the air plenum under the dash. The only reason to take the fender off is to access the bolts on the bottom of the air plenum easier or to remove the AC components.
