Has anyone used this paint??

I am looking for some interior paint for a steering column and bucket seat color change to match the rest of my interior. i do not have the cash to reupholster my seats unfortunately.

i found this paint but am not sure of how good it is.

OER sells good paint, but most use SEM paint for interior.

Either way, prep is the most important part here. Follow the instructions. You don't want it peeling off anytime soon. I used SEM on some parts and am pleased with the results.

They make great exterior paints, not sure about interior. I used SEM on my interior several years ago, still looks like new.

I've had really good luck painting dash pads, less good luck on flexible material like seats. The paint will eventually crack and start peeling.

As noted, the top three things for a successful paint job are prep, prep, and prep.

Oh, and I should probably mention prep also.

SEM sells cleaners and vinyl etch that should be used prior to applying paint. As noted, follow the instructions.

I used SEM on my door panels and dash. Very pleased. Don't take any shortcuts, follow directions, take your time, be thorough, and you will have a result you'll be proud of.
