Question...

Is there a trick to putting the retainer rings/lense back on a speedometer?

So, I took my gauges apart....cleaned them out, painted the inside yada yada yada.

So, putting them back together seems to be pretty irritating. I got them back together with some cursing and so forth but am I missing something or do they require a bit of massaging to get back together?
