Door panel repair tips, tricks, voodoo?

Got the door panel off thanks to Joe.

What trick or tips do you guys have to fix the door panel where the clips have pulled through?

Thanks

No magic solution, just brute force. If the damage is only local, you can try a resin and fiberglass cloth patch. Otherwise, fabricate new door cards and transfer the upholstery.

I'm sorry, but I've spent the better part of the last year undoing half-fast repairs on my 67 Delta. Previous owners have welded hex nuts to the sides of the lower control arms as steering stops due to worn out suspension bushings and incorrect wheel offset, hacked and destroyed the HVAC box to fit an incorrect heater core, pulled fuses to bypass crappy wiring, lost the rear brake self adjuster mechanisms for who know what reason, routed a nearly flat exhaust pipe to run duals with the wrong LH manifold, forced an incorrect Saginaw center link into Thompson idler and pitman arms and stripped the threads on the brand new center link as a result, etc, etc.

I've had it up to HERE with half-fast repairs.

If they are not bad, sometimes you can soak the area w/ CA...like superglue from a hobby shop. It works better on like Ford type chipboard panels. Those are too far gone for that.

A few screws does not compare to your Ethiopian engineered modifications.

But they DO punch holes in the factory upholstery...
