Doing the Delta 88 Bench Seat Rock

Hey guys....I'm trying to finish installing the interior on this 71 Delta 88 I have here. There is some major play in the seat tracks for the front bench. When it's bolted into the car the seat rocks front to back pretty substantially.

I looked at the track assembly and don't see any type of adjustment or even any stoppers in the tracks that should eliminate that up and down play originally.

Anyone know if there is a fix for this issue or do I need to try and track down a new set of seat tracks?

I've never heard of this problem, and honestly don't think it's possible for the tracks to do this.

Have you taken the seat out yet? If so, have you looked at the bottom?
Is there any chance that the bolts attaching the seat to the tracks are loose?

Yes the seat was out and the bolts into the bottom are tight. I can see all of the play in the upper and lower rails.

Weird.

Tracks should be easy to get from a junk yard, though - everybody swaps their bench seats for buckets and their manual seats for power.
Tracks from any full-size GM of the era, and probably any A-body as well, should fit fine.
