Does anyone have power door locks in a 69?
You can certainly add them and they now reproduce the 66-70 switches so they will look right. I'm not sure about 69 but I thought they were the same switches but were hydrolic not electric like 70 and later.
Curious to see what the 69 folks say

Go with the later electric locks if you do this. The octopus valve for the vacuum system is way up under the dash and there's miles of color-coded vacuum tubing associated with the vacuum door lock system. I thought about them for my 69 Toro till I saw what was involved and decided that for a 2-door car it was simply not worth the effort.
My dash and heater are completely removed from the firewall, I thought it would be a good time to add this stuff to my car. I have had trouble finding photos of the door panels with the door locks in place.
My 1969 Cutlass has power door locks. They do act like they are vacuum/not electric. It would be easy to add power locks hidden with a remote to unlock, any decent aftermarket automotive audio/security company could do that. I can send you a picture of the originals in my cutlass if you are looking for placement of switches. - Steven
