Defroster

OK guys I got one for ya I had the heater box out everything seem to be working comes out every vent except defrost as far as strong it comes out the AC vents on AC and Max comes out the heater when I put it to hot when I have it on cool and defrost it doesn’t come out the defroster or on heater it does not still come out the defroster so which vacuum dude should I check out cause I know there’s two of them

I believe it’s the one on the left side because the hot cold works and that’s on the rightside

There is a rigid plastic duct that fits onto the outlet on top left of the heater box. Are you sure all the parts went back together correctly?

Yup I was Extremely carful taking part and putting back I am very compulsive I check like 3-5 times lol
It would be nice to figure it out

So I guess you made sure the vacuum hose was connected to the port on the diaphragm as well.

Did the defrost work before you pulled the HVAC box? Maybe the ducts up top are disconnected or shot?

I would replace both vacuum " dudes " . Because they are probably almost 50 years old , and you have gone to the trouble of tearing it all apart .
Besides which , they probably don't cost a fortune .

those vacume actuators worked flawless when tested I think it’s something else thanks for the input

No they did not because the blower was not working so I could not test it.
I’m 99% sure but I will double check when I get a chance I might have forgot to plug the dam hose thing back on LOL.
I was so happy to be done with that under dash stuff. Neck/ Shoulder pain
I even put the lower ac panel back on.
