Dashboard trim.

Ok. I’m nearly finished repairing and replacing all the things in the dashboard. Clock, radio, speaker/power supply, fresh air vents, heater ducts, miscellaneous wiring, etc. I have everything put back except the chrome trim piece that goes over the radio. I am at a loss for what holds it on. It’s not the *****, I found out. Looks to me like there should be a big washer that fits over the radio tuning stems held in by the skinny nut. But I don’t have any left over parts. Anybody know what holds that thing on?

I think it is held on by each chrome piece on each side

This is correct. Probably not a very thick washer.
