Dash pad.

I am going to repaint the dash top after a rust repair, and I want to remove the
dashpad before spraying.
The PM shows 3 screws close to the instruments attaching it to the black plastic piece below.
Is it possible to reach these screws without removing the instruments?
I can't even see them.

Access will suck, no matter what. Pull the front seat(s), lay on the floor, and reach up under the dash. Wear goggles to prevent the crumbly insulation from getting in your eyes. You need to do this anyway to get the gauge pods out.
