Cutlass Supreme Remote Mirror

When I acquired my car the door panels were already removed and much of the hardware is missing. I'm in the process of putting new ones in and am looking for a part for the remote mirror assy. The Fisher Body Manual shows a clip that holds the escutcheon to the cable control. Is the clip available?

After looking at the pic I need the cable support arm too, I guess it keeps the cable away from the window.

It seems really hard to find parts for these mirrors , do you need any other door panel parts , I have about 6 door panels here. I dont have any good backing plates though.

I have new panels and have rounded up everything else that was missing except for the clip (and the cable support arm).

Thanks

Robert, I may have a clip from a trashed mirror but will have to wait to the weekend to dig around. I've never seen the support piece in the diagram.

If you don't find one by the weekend, remind me

The Parts Place has the escutcheon, backing plate, screws, and they say the retaining clip.

That works, thanks

Good, then I won't have to find one...

You're on my radar
