I would to get a general consensuses of what products you guys are using to clean and protect the interior in your Olds. I have been using Meguiar's and Armor All products. Both do OK but I get tired of sliding around on the seats after cleaning.
What do you guys like?

I like the Formula 303 products. In my opinion Armor All is one of the worst. Meguires is good and Mothers make good products and I don't think there is a lot of difference in the two. I use Meguires Ultimate Detailer and wax for the exterior but I use Formula 303 for the interior. I used to have to go to West Marine to get it but Amazon has then all.

 

I agree with redoldsman. I would never use Armor All.

 

I do like the Meguiar's Quick Detailer for the exterior after a good wax job, but with the amount of Chrome on my 442 a good wax job takes forever to get the white residue off the car, then the quick detailer works great

I assume you are referring to vinyl surfaces, IMO don't use anything with wax or silicone in it, coating the material kills it not to mention making it look ridiculous. If the surface is dirty I've always used Fantastik and a toothbrush, works great but be sure you follow up with a water rinse off. Once its clean just wipe the dust off and hit it with a wet cloth every now and then.

Yes I'm thinking of the interior Vinyl surfaces. I do like the "shininess" of the interior after a good cleaning, but as you said there are negatives to using certain products and that's the real reason for my original question as I wanted to see what others are using and what works best for keeping a 47 year old classic original interior looking good while preserving it.
