Chrome Seat Trim Endcaps

So I'm ready to install the endcaps and noticed the prongs are straight. To make these things work, I'll need to bend the prongs inward and crimp them on.
What is the best way you've found bending these teenie tiny prongs?

What year is the car? I think they stopped using those in 1967 or 68. The years that used metal pieces for the back + skirts. After that it was just the chrome bead, no ends. Buy the good pre-molded beading from AME's. One of my cars (1967 GS 400) uses the caps. I forget what I used to crimp them...I think I used hog ring pliers.

Not used on a '70-2 model and probably not on 69's either. Not sure about earlier models.

They look like original but absolutely won’t fit without completely reshaping them. Try putting them over a 1/4 or 5/16” bolt and tapping the prongs in so they grip the metal seat shields
