Bumpy road.
Bumpy road.
Okay so I had to drive down a bumpy road today
as there was no other way to get where I needed to go
and my whole dash from where the gauges are to the clock and
cig lighter fell down a bit =0 i took the faceplate off and well the
clips broke as suspected, JB Weld is in order? It's sagging now about 5/8's of an inch.
I kinda don't wanna jb weld, but =/ I guess if I ever had to
pull the dash I could just use an air saw to cut the jb welds.
Anyone got some old school tricks for this fix?

You can glue all the broken plastic pieces back together with POR PATCH.
I had some Sh1thead steal my stereo, and shattered much of the plastic dash skeleton in the process. It took some patience, but was stronger than stock once I repaired everything. Don't go too crazy with it, though.... it expands a little while it's curing.

Inspect all of the mounting points for damage. RocketRaider or FDWheelman on here may have photos on file of the disassembled dashboard skeleton.
