I believe assembled means that you can put them on right away ,unassembled means that you have to transfer pcs from your existing door panels like the metal top pc ,trim etc.

I bought assembled from Legendary. A friend of mine that's done a bunch of restorations suggested paying the extra for assembled. He's done it both ways. If you have a convertible and use Legendary you have to send them your old rear panels so don't toss them

You have to restaple the top steel to the new cardboard backer in exactly the right place

Hey i recieved a good lesson myself once. The un assembled panels from opgi etc usually do not have the metal piece in the top for mounting and i sold this set after learning the hard way. I believe all panels should be fully assembled but the person on the other end sometimes does not know what is what. Get a definite answer and forget trusting them.

Check this post out to see if you are willing to transfer over your old top rail and mid trim and save some cash.

In the beginning it looked very difficult. After I figured out HOW to do it, it went fast and easy.
