On my newly acquired 75 Hurst, the sail panels are there but the vertical courtesy lights don't cover the entire cut out on those panels. In other words, there's about a 3/4" gap at the bottom of the cut out for the light, that is not covered. I'm assuming that the light is somehow mounted too high on the panel. How do these come off? I don't want to break the plastic?
Here are some pictures from my 75 supreme spare parts.
Remove the plastic lens, screws that hold the light assembly to the body. Not the plastic sail panel.

Appears those light are about the same size as the one I have except for the fact that your panels don't have that 1" space showing at the bottom of the lights in my pics?
I doubt the sail panels changed shape so maybe someone but out the sail panel for some kind of different light. Hard to tell as the car is 50 years old!

So, turns out on my H/O sail panels, it appears they have slipped down and that created the gap at the bottom of the courtesy light. But, the things are VERY brittle and I'm going to try my hand at making a reproduction out of either ABS plastic or polyethylene sheets. Not quite sure how yet.
