72" CS bucket seats?

would these be same as 67'-69' Chevelle bucket seats? I found some seat covers I like but the only classic they make it for is for the chevelle. BAck seat too for that matter. Wonder if they are close enough in same the covers would be a good fit.

No, the 70-72 Cutlass buckets are different from the 67-69. Early models don't have the headrests, and the latch releases are on the side instead of back. You can use the core from any of the GM A bodies from 70-72 though. Not restricted to just Cutlass Supreme.

Huh?

66-72 gm-Abody seats are all the same basic dimensions and the covers are interchangeable between models. IE: a 72 C/S will fit on a 1970 Chevelle seat frame & vice versa.

There are a couple bun designs, and you must match your bun to the cover style you are installing, but that is the only limitation

69-72 frames & springs are essentially the same- the only difference is in the headrests themselves (69 had the headrest locking tabs facing the other way and used a different headrest lock button)

66-68 are all each one year only design- the covers will still interchange, but there are differences in each one for seatback locks, type of headrest tube.
These are best avoided unless you are specifically looking for one of those years, or don't care about headrests. (personally i like the 67-68 seats with the side release better than the 69-72 with the center release.
