71 pearl white interior paint.

For anyone with a 70 or 71 pearl interior, what is the best interior paint choice to match the upholstery? I need to paint the metal filler panels on either side of the back seat rest. I looked on the SEM site, but I couldn't locate pearl white. Thanks for any info on this.

Is price a factor? I have an option but it's kinda expensive($60)but it's about the best match. You have to buy it by the pint.

I'm interested in hearing more. I haven't researched it too much and nothing locally, but I'm all ears. Thanks.

Brian, I'm also looking for the same item. Also which SEM Color Coat white would be used on the windlaces for the pearl white interior.

I wasn't able to find any answers for my question that I had posted and didn't see anything called pearl from SEM. I didn't contact anyone there to find out if they did offer a GM pearl. In the meantime, I have ordered a new pearl white interior from Legendary and asked them about obtaining matching pearl dye. They referred me to a company called Kolor Korrect in New Jersey. They have the Legendary formulas and I ordered a kit from them which includes the white base and the pearl overcoat. It also may include an adhesion promoter. Their number is (732)846-1044. I feel it is pricey but I don't know any alternative at this time.

Any automotive paint supplier should be able to add pearl to any color you want. But you will likely have to buy a quart. I could buy pints long ago but the suppliers I used switched to only quarts as their smallest quantity.
