71 cutlass steering column
71 cutlass steering column
Will this work with minimal modifications on my cutlass floor shift..
This is for a "Brand New in the box" 28" Steering Column with Wheel Hub Adaptor.
FOR: CUSTOM CARS AND TRUCKS, ALSO STREET RODS!
These steering columns are similar to the 1967 and up GM columns that use a 4-1/4" male wiring harness.
Columns come with chrome ***** & wiring harness.
Note: Modifications may be necessary for proper installation.

Not enough info. 67 & 68 generally dont inter change in OEM stock form with 69 and up because the Key is in the dash. 69-72 have the key in the column with the locking wheel. There are back drive linkages associated with the later where as the 67 & 68 dont have this. That doesnt mean that this aftermarket company isnt aware of this and does have a bolt in kit which will retro fit either. Id call one of the few steering column after market tech lines and ask specifics. Ididit or Flaming River are two I'm familiar with.
No. This is an aftermarket generic column. The "67 and up" refers to the shaft interface and the harness. It is NOT a bolt-in for an A-body. Speedway Motors does now sell bolt-in A-body tilt columns. They are about $850 each. They are not exact stock replacements, but they are the correct length and bolt in. The one you've listed does not.
