hello friends. new here, hoping for some friendly advice. looking to remove the center console from a 4-speed manual '69 442 for cosmetic touch up and to install a rubber shifter boot to replace an ugly vinyl shroud. can anyone provide tips, suggestions or warnings of likely surprises in this seemingly simple undertaking? thanks in advance.
