Can anyone guide to the right place to purchase floor mats i have a 68 442 convertable and im looking for good quality and someything with the olds or 442 decal i dont know what logo should be in the 68 if it matters thanks for any replies

 

If you're not going for the Fusick reproduction mats, Legendary Auto Interiors had floor mats that sound like what you want but their damn website has so much animation and other crap going on in the background that it's near impossible to search for them.

 

The reproduction mats at Fusick (www.Fusick.com; you can view their catalog on-line) are essentially identical to the original mats that were in my '68 vert. I just am fortunate to have a black interior because, as I recall, they only make them in black now instead of the original interior color. If you are looking for something other than black, you might advertise in Parts Wanted to see if anyone has them.

I got some good repros for my '69 at Year One. They are correct with just the "Oldsmobile" lettering and rocket logo -- no 442 nomenclature. If you want special 442 mats, they won't be correct but are easy enough to find. Matter of fact, you can have the ones my wife got me ... if I can find them.
