67 cutlass front speaker

couldnt find a thread about the replacing the front speaker on my 67 Cutlass 442. In the shop manual it says that I dont have to remove the radio itself to replace the speaker but can it be removed without removing the instrument panel? What is best way to get to it w/o removing the panel? or can it be done? any help will be appreciated as usual, thanks, Mike

If your car has AC a lot of the ducting needs to be removed. Just work from under the dash and see how it goes.
