Having my buckets seats re-upholstered with Legendary covers, etc. The back of the seats are metal. The seat covers color are ‘parchment’. Is there a specific color or color code to repaint these metal backs with?

Do you have the original seatbacks? If so, take one off the inside will be non-textured and have a much better condition version of the paint- take it to a paint supply store and they can put their scanner on it and come up with a matching paint mix code and can make you up a batch.

That's how the ones in my current 66 were done 15 years ago (previous owner was a friend so i remember him going through this).
My interior (66 chevelle) is Two Tone Faun, which is the whiteish outsides, and the center panels are bronze- So the metal sides & backs are the offwhite (a little bit of yellow tint)

Unfortunately I don't have a code or anything since he did it so long ago (way before i got the car)

 

Ben, took off the back and saw what you described as far as a better idea of what the color is. On my way to the paint store as we speak.
