65-66 Starfires interors
Hey guys just to be sure, on 65-66 Starfire's the seats were all leather as standard equipment right? I'm on the search for one of these cars and want to be sure because some of these interiors may have been replaced with vinyl. Thanks.

Starfire lost a lot of its status when Toronado hit town. But- with a 375 horsepower 425, switch-pitch Turbo 400 (or M20 4-speed) and 3.23 gearing (down from earlier 3.42) in a 3900lb car, they'd still get up and dance.
They lost some of their glitz but were still a very distinctive car. Even though they lost their standard leather seats, Toronado didn't get them either. Not even as an option. Starfire DID get Strato-Bench seats as a no-cost option though, and only the top-line B and E cars got that.
But as with any Starfire, get the best and most complete car you can. All that Starfire-specific trim is rapidly becoming unobtainium.

Gotcha, so the 65 ribbed seat inserts were vinyl with leather on the outside. 66 all vinyl. 66 still a beautiful car. I'm looking hard at the 66 going on the block at Mecum Kissimmee on August 27th. The only thing holding me up is have nobody to go look at it for me.
