Hello, I was wondering if someone could give me the dimensions for the back seat of 64-65 Cutlass ? Coupe and convertible, I have a nice back seat and trying to figure out what it fits. Thank You.

 

If I understand correctly there is three different ones. F85 has no lower arm rests so it is a wider seat. Than what is in a Cutlass hardtop or convertible. And a convertible has wider arm rests and bases due to the top cylinders being there. So it has an even narrower seat.

I have a F85 i will take a measurement for you.

Thanks. I have a seat that measures 53" ish on the bottom cushion and 51" ish on the back cushion that came with some buckets I purchased. They have been redone in a " custom " material so I can't tell from the factory pattern. I know they don't fit GTO OR CHEVELLE because of the type of arm rest.

The only 65 I have is a 65 F85 2 door post car. So, those do not have a set of lower arm rests only a small arm rest about mid panel. So, the seat in those cars is wider like in a Chevelle. I have not take the bottom out yet but the seat back is 57" wide.

I suspect yours is from a car with Cutlass level trim that will have the lower arm rests. Those also have a filler on the upper section. A convertible seat is even narrower.

bottom section front and rear is 48"
