I've taken over the care of my Father's 1979 Olds Regency 98. The car's got a few interior problems that I'm at a loss as to how to fix or find parts. One is to replace the rotted sun visors on passenger and driver's sides --the other is replacing a vinyl panel (that I call an interior 'Pillar Panel') Wondering if anyone would be able to help me with an interior parts book (or guide), and a good source for the sun visors and 'pillar panel'? I'd appreciate any assistance - thank you !

 

Your only going to find interior parts for your car from a salvage yard. Saying that, you could always take your car to an interior shop and have the sun visors recovered.

I removed the lower B pillar covers from my 71 98 and painted them (they are plastic). Unfortunately, the paint has failed. Whenever you paint interior plastic parts make sure you use adhesion promoter.
