1976 cutlass s interior

Can I fix some of the interior trim or does anyone know someone that can restore my trim? Thanks

Unfortunately, that's the self-destructing plastic that GM used in the late 70s. No one reproduces these parts. Short of patching it with fiberglass or other molding compound, finding good used is your only other option. Sorry.

The sail panel trims are especially difficult to find in good condition. To help expand your search, besides the Cutlass they are shared with the '74 Chevelle, '74 Century (large window) and '74 Lemans (large window).

I do have the trim piece that goes above the rear window if interested. PM me and we can discuss.

The black ones held up the best, so if you can find those go for it. Something to do with the ultra-violet rays. You would think the black ones would suffer the most, but is just the opposite.

I don't know if this is an option for you, but I will try to explain what we did on a students '76 buick.
The broken area at door opening.
The window/door seals area of your favorite hardware store will have thin rubber strips 1/2" , 3/4" ,1" etc wide ,that have grooved channels on both sides , we used this to fill in the gap, after trimming the upper overlapping panel back to make the rubber strip fit.
The grooves on the sides held it in place. Sorry I don't have photo's.
Then remove all the trim, clean it really well, then clean it again, then dye it all one shade of matching color.
The student was not after showroom stock 100% show car points type fix. so it looked good and fixed the issue, other than some of the warping, but was not "correct"

We have also used the fleece and fiberglass resin to form parts or to cover missing parts of a plastic part.
