1972 standard seat belt paint suggestions!

The seat bets in my 1972 Cutlass 442 are pretty nice and clean up well except the front seatbelts by each door have a black plastic cover over them and they are kinda dull and faded! Anyone have a good plastic paint on black they’d recommend? Rattle can!
Also a question about both these from door seat belts! Each one has an electrical connector in them and there is a wire that runs lent to right with a male electrical connector! What is this wiring for? If it’s just for the seatbelt alarm, I’ll not connect it!
Next, the front seatbelts next to the center console has black buckles! Mine need resprayed! What color black and kind of paint would these take? Rattle can!

If you're doing a concours restoration then you can get the correct paint from SEM.

Be aware that painting plastic parts requires adhesion promoter. Make sure you follow the manufacturer's directions when spraying those covers.

Then I'd go to your local hardware store and choose a good paint for plastic. Usually you can get adhesion promoter in the same brand as the rattle-can color.
