I need a set a blue armrest pads for my '71 VC; was looking at buying new, some sites say the pads are the same as for a Cutlass, a few do not.
The parts book (gr 14.686) shows the VC and Cutlass wagons as using the same "cover" p/n 7769168 RH & 7769169 LH and "Base" p/n 8769956 RH & 8769957 LH, but no other model uses those p/ns.
Would appreciate any clarification.

Armrest pads on 2 drs are the same. 4 drs and wagons are shorter.

 

Here is a photo showing the difference. The wagon style is the narrow pad. The bases are different also, so if you buy the wider pad you will need the wider 2 door style base. I believe the 2 door version will bolt up to the wagon.
