1970 Cutlass glove box striker mounting

Anyone have a picture of how the glove box Striker attaches? It wasn't on when I bought the car and I just cant seem to get it in the right position for the glove box to latch. I dont even see any holes where it would have been attached before.
Something so simple can turn out to be such a pain lol
Thank you

Diagram from the 1971 PIM, a little more clarity I believe the diagrams are identical...

Thank you very much!
It look's as though the right attaching point on my car is broke. I thought the broken piece was for a bumper like on the left side.
Guess now I know why the striker was off lol
Thanks again

You can find a striker at the usual on-line vendors, but you might also find one through one of the CO members if you place a WTB thread in the Parts Wanted section.

I have the striker, its the plastic mounting point on the passenger side that appears to be broken.
