1970 CS Firewall Carpet Guard

Does anyone know how to or even better, have a picture of the plastic carpet guard installed? Some call it the toe kick panel, others a carpet guard but it's the molded black plastic portion under the drivers side dash by the pedal assembly. I can't for the life of me remember how it goes in. I'm in the process or replacing carpet and want to get this back in.

Here's a link to the pic of the part from Google:

Isn't it held on with screws through those two holes?

Yep. But I can't get mine to line up without hitting pedal assembly or not sitting right. Was hoping someone had a picture of theirs installed.

I would like to point out the picture link you posted has it upside down. Hope that helps.
