1966 cutlass headliner

Well I ordered my headliner from Fusick a few months ago just have not had time to get it to the upholsterer well I started looking at it and figured out there were 2 different style headliners that year and mine is the earlier version than what they sent. They used PUI and I looked at their and fusicks websites and catalogs and the do not even offer the choice if they had I would have investigated and it is non returnable because it was special order color. Talk about p#%^&@d

My 66 442 was an early madel as well and I went through the same thing years ago. I think it was PUI but I'm not positive. I had to send them my old headliner to use as a template. When they were done it fit properly and has held up very well.

Yeah what is really bad is Fusick claims to have been in the Olds business since 1971 and they sent me samples to make sure we ordered the right color and then I get the wrong design. I am so mad I could eat nails and s%^&t rails.

The early 66s used a headliner that cam down the sail pillars and had small wedge shaped pieces in the corners. The later 66s used headliners that quit partway down the sail pillars, and separate sail pillar boards with headliner coverings. If you scrounge up or fabricate tabs, brackets, etc., you can go from one style to the other.
