1964 Olds Cutlass f85 power drivers bucket seat
1964 Olds Cutlass f85 power drivers bucket seat
Hey Guys, - sry for this being long but there is numerous questions I have on this power bucket seat for my 1964 Cutlass so I'll list them in orderBut first I need one a bucket seat power frame in any condition - so if U know someone who had one I'm very interested:
1) I understand from Olds Engineers & the Heritage Dept before it was deactivated (Christo & Jim) that 1964 was one of a kind all by itself & 1965 + 66 are different & after buying a couple over 10 year period they all are right - conclusion it must be off a 64 "Do U agree or do U have a different idea?"
2) On the frame for that I've heard that the Starfire was the same as the Cutlass in '64 is that true - not that it helps those cars are more extinct that the Cutlass - is that a Fact?
3)Any salvage yards in NORTH AMERICA (Canada included) that would have Olds Cutlass f85 cars or Starfire's
Thanks for helpingAL

Al, according to the Jan 1965 edition of the parts book, 1964 and 65 F85 power bucket seat adjusters are the same. They are different from those on full size cars. The 1966-up cars use different seat frames.
